The Atlanta February 7th show was a happening party with a Latin beat. Special thanks to Jen and Alfredo Piceno for allowing us to use a corner of their space for our show. Not only did customers shop in the high energy Salsambo dance studio, we all got our moves on in the complimentary Zumba session. If you don’t know what Zumba is, it’s an aerobics dance exercise class set to Latin rhythms. The reggaeton, salsa, and hip-hop beats combined with the high energy of the instructors were so infectious that we found it impossible not to dance. If you live in Atlanta and need a fun way to burn off some fried chicken or pecan pie, visit
http://www.salsambo.com/ to sign up for the class. It was great fun for the body and the fashion-forward soul.

Since then, we were privileged to host our first ever private show for Les Jeunes Dammes at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Founded by Odessa Woolfolk in 1992, the 58,000 square-foot facility houses memorabilia, art work, and exhibits honoring the works and lives of civil and human rights leaders, both domestic and international. It is an impressive tribute. Check out their web space at
http://www.bcri.org/. As a result of all these shows, a lot of inventory in our catalog is sold out!
